CHRIS COBB DESIGN

I care about community building, connecting people together and finding ways to bring ideas to life. These priorities have led me to work with nonprofits to improve their messaging, marketing, and web presence.

My writing has appeared in FLASH Art International, Hyperallergic.com, SFMOMA’s OPEN SPACE, ArtWeek, KQED’s art & culture section, the Believer Magazine. I believe in journalistic standards - especially verifying sources and fact checking.

My projects have appeared on NPR’s All Things Considered, the New York Times, in The Best Creative Nonfiction Vol. 3 Vol. 3 and on WNYC.

I live in Brooklyn. Since 2014 I have been working with the Gloster Arts Project, a nonprofit artist residency program that brings arts professionals to rural Mississippi. For them I write grants, manage social media, write Constant Contact mailings, and assist in fundraising.
